March 16, 2017 - Hamburg, Germany - Xeneta, the leading ocean freight rate benchmarking and market intelligence platform, announced today that it has appointed Michael Braun as Director, Value Engineering and Head of Xeneta Advisor department. Braun comes to Xeneta after 10 years with TIM Consult where he held the position of Project & Community Manager of Ocean Freight.

The ocean freight rate data the Xeneta platform holds and the sheer on-demand deliverability of current market movements is unprecedented. Xeneta’s customers and prospects are some of the leading companies worldwide and I look very much forward to work together to fully optimize their ocean freight procurement strategy," says Michael Braun.
