Kärcher chooses Xeneta as its freight intelligence partner

Kärcher has chosen Xeneta to provide a complete source of freight data and intelligence.

OSLO – Norway, 10 March 2026

Kärcher (Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG) has chosen Xeneta to provide a complete source of freight data and intelligence for evaluating costs against the market, forecasting and proactive strategic decision-making to de-risk its network of over 100 trade lanes.

Kärcher is a family-owned German manufacturer and global market leader in cleaning technology. Founded in 1935 and headquartered in Winnenden. Kärcher is best known for inventing Europe’s first hot-water pressure washer in 1950.

Today, Kärcher provides solutions for all areas of cleaning and maintenance across the world - from the everyday to the extraordinary. As a product and as a service, Kärcher is a comprehensive package for professional users, an indispensable must-have for every household or a customized digital solution for individual clients.

Supply chain challenges:

  • Kärcher was looking for a way to evaluate costs against the market on routes across the many lanes that connect its production and logistics sites in Germany, Italy, Romania, Latvia (Europe) and USA, Mexico, Brazil (Americas) plus China, Vietnam, India (Asia).

  • With over 100 lanes, Kärcher was looking for an efficient way to de-risk its network where service levels or reliability required improving.

  • Kärcher wanted an independent and complete single source of freight data to use for negotiations, analysis and reporting.

Kärcher-Xeneta use cases:

1. Benchmarking: Compare rates vs the market in real-time, identify performance improvement opportunities. Gain negotiation leverage with suppliers.

2. Strategic decision making: a proactive approach to market volatility, using data for freight decision-making, e.g. allocating volumes to spot vs long term contracts, improving time-to-market for RFQs.

3. Forecasting / Reporting: sharing cost forecasts and report on efficiency savings, cost reduction and risk mitigation across the freight network.

Outcome:

“Through our partnership with Xeneta, we utilize market-leading data analytics to make our global supply chains even more resilient and efficient. This ensures our customers worldwide receive the high level of delivery reliability they have come to expect and strengthens our competitiveness in a volatile market environment.”
