OSLO, Norway - 17 February 2026
Xeneta, the global ocean and air freight intelligence solution provider, today announced the appointment of Bjorn Vang Jensen as Executive Industry Advisor.
Joining 1 March, Bjorn brings over 35 years’ experience to the role, having managed complex global supply chains and logistics across FMCG, retail, automotive and consumer durables. His deep understanding of strategic partnerships across shippers, freight forwarders and carriers makes him well placed to support Xeneta’s continued focus on helping customers improve freight procurement efficiency, and safeguard theirsupply chains.
As market volatility, geopolitical disruption, and digital transformation reshape global trade, the need for accurate, trusted data has become central to building resilient and performance-driven partnerships.
“Shippers today are operating in a structurally different market environment,” said Bjorn Vang Jensen. “Volatility is no longer cyclical - it’s constant. In that reality, data transparency and technology are critical to driving better procurement decisions, managing risk, and strengthening collaboration across the supply chain. I have first-hand experience of Xeneta, so know it's uniquely positioned to empower companies with the insights they need to turn partnerships into measurable performance.”
Bjorn’s appointment underscores Xeneta’s commitment to support BCOs, carriers and freight forwarders with the transition from inflexible and time-consuming RFP processes to index-linked contracts, and to help them learn more about how freight futures can help their organizations mitigate cost swings.
Fabio Brocca, Chief Product Officer at Xeneta, added:
“Bjorn brings a deep understanding of shipper realities and the commercial pressures they face. His expertise will help us provide the support customers need to thrive and transform their roles and teams. As we continue to enhance our platform with advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities, Bjorn will play a key role in translating innovation into tangible value for our customers.”
Xeneta’s growth strategy is centered on enabling stronger, performance-driven relationships between shippers, forwarders, and carriers - powered by technology and grounded in accurate market data.
With Bjorn’s industry expertise, Xeneta further strengthens its position as the neutral data layer supporting informed decisions, and more resilient supply chains, worldwide.
