XSI® Public Indices Report

Ocean freight long-term contract market

April 2024:

The Global XSI® reached 154.3 points in April, an increase of 1.7% from March.

In isolation this appears fairly unremarkable, but beneath the surface of this global XSI® is an array of interesting market dynamics.

While some underlying XSI® indices have seen significant increases in April, others are posting considerable declines.

These diverging trajectories on the sub-indices are creating the illusion of a static market at a global level.
