Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) is a fee levied on an importer when processing the entry with the US Customs and Border Protection unit.

The MPF is charged separately for formal and informal entries. Formal entries are charged an ad valorem fee of 0.3464% of the FOB commercial value, and Informal entries are charged a set fee of $2.00, $6.00, or $9.00 per shipment.
